Founded by two women in STEM, TutorGals has grown into a small team of tutors who each bring their own subject expertise and teaching style — but the same commitment to meeting students where they are.
A graduate of the University of Tampa with a bachelor's in Physics and Mathematics, Allison has tutored math for 5 years to students ages 5 to 25. She started tutoring so every student could learn to love math instead of fearing it — and still lights up when a student solves something on their own for the first time.
Kelsey earned her Bachelor's in Biology from the University of Tampa, with minors in Physics and Mathematics. With 6+ years tutoring, 2 years teaching, and 2 years as a peer mentor, she's worked with students ages 5 to 40. She believes education is never one-size-fits-all, and takes time to understand each student's specific needs.
Bayleigh holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Belhaven University and a master's in educational leadership and administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. A high school math teacher since 2013, she's taught nearly every math class offered at that level and finds purpose in building positive, nurturing relationships with students.
Lily is an undergraduate Biomedical Engineering student researching how age-related changes in the body affect brain and neurological function. She plans to pursue a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, and loves helping students build confidence and make challenging math concepts feel more approachable.
